Burnell “Woodrow” Jackson, 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010.
Mr. Jackson was Baptist. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Delores Jackson; daughter, Shelitha Davis; sisters, Mary Ann (Clifford Sr.) Woods, Angela Davis (Danny Rixter), Bernadine (Kirk Sr.) Dumas, Dr. Elouise Joseph, and Beverly, Pamela and Janice Rounds (Wilfred Anderson); and brothers, Alfred Sr. (Jacqueline), Herbert Lee (Betty), Michael Sr. Jackson (Pamela Smith), Alvin (Barbara), Michael, Curtis and Lynn Rounds, and Roland (Stephanie), Allen (Verlinda), Jerome (Annette Triggs) and Wilfred (Caroline) Joseph.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Rounds Jr., five brothers, Claudell Jackson, Eddie, Glenn and Charles Rounds and Wesley Williams; maternal grandparents, Palestine Harris and Jeffery Jackson; and paternal grandparents, Agnes and Allen Rounds Sr.
He is buried at Livas Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.
