Byron Charles Gautreaux, 57, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 11:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.
Mr. Gautreaux was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La.
He is survived by his wife, Jodie Gautreaux; mother, Doris Gautreaux; son, Chance Gautreaux; brothers, Dwight Sr. and Brendon Gautreaux; sisters, Desma Gisclair, Gwen Charpentier, Veronica Theriot and Bonnie Toepfer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Medric Gautreaux; son, Hilary Gautreaux; and brothers, Medric and Maurice Gautreaux.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano. (Falgout)
