Byron Joseph Legendre, 56, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Himel Legendre; parents, Larry and Dixie Kliebert Legendre; son, Jake (Joanne) Legendre; daughter, Lori Ann (Derrick Durocher) Legendre; sisters, Pat (George) Busby, Cindy (Harry) and Charlene (Johnny) Bernard; and three grandchildren, Kylie and Cameron Legendre and Dane Durocher.
The family would like to thank the doctor’s and staff of M.D. Anderson for their care through his two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
