June 20, 2012Camille James Brooks, 92, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Bell and Frances Billizon; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Brooks Sr.; parents Henry Sr. and Ella James; sons, Wallace Jr. and Alfred Brooks; daughter, Patricia Brooks; brother, Henry James Jr.; and sisters, Ella Morgan, Jessie Anderson and Bernice Jackson.
Burial was at St. Joseph Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
