Camille Jules Lefort, 84, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Sunday, January 11, at 1:13 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Lucille Savoie Lefort; sons, Michael Lefort and wife Kathy, Donald Lefort and Dean Lefort; daughters, Camellia Childress and husband Don, Katie Bourgeois and husband Leverence and Judy Lefort; sister, Janet LeBouef; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Leoncia Plaisance Lefort; and sister, Rosie Galliano.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of V.F.W. Post 8530 of Larose, La., a past board member of Hibernia Bank and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church will a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
