Carmel Joseph Fesi, 85, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.


Mr. Fesi proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from PCM Oilfield after 15 years of service. He loved his country and his family dearly.


He is survived by his son, Michael (Carla) Fesi; stepson, Jerry (Veronica) Pearce; daughters, DeVonne (Syd) Conner, Elizabeth (Herbert) Rhodes and Trina Fesi; sisters, Vera (Gale) Cole and Jackie Malbrough; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ouida Fesi; second wife, Mary Fesi; parents, Joseph and Concetta Fesi; daughter, Sandra Fesi; and sister, Rita Fesi.

Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
