Carmen “C.J.” Bourgeois, 80, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, June 6, at 12:05 a.m.


He is survived by his sister, Eula Molaison and husband J.A. Molaison; niece, Carol Kovar and husband Louis Kovar; and nephew, Wayne Molaison and companion Sarah Holder.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Rose Boudreaux; and parents, Philton Bourgeois and Cecile Bourgeois.

The funeral service was Tuesday, June 9, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux with burial at the church cemetery.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
