Carroll Joseph Toups, 63, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011.
Mr. Toups was employed by Equipment Chartering for 21 years and a boat captain since the age of 17.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Benedict Toups; sons, Chris (Crystal) Toups and Keith Micheal; daughter, Roxanne (Kerry) Guidry; brother, Joseph Anthony Matherne; and three grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Guidry and Carter Toups.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Della Ann Crochet Toups; two brothers, Micheal James Matherne and Millard Melow Smith; and one sister, Dorothy Boudwin.
