Catherine Pellegrin, 80, a native of and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:25 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2011.
Mrs. Pellegrin was a pageant director in the Tri-parish area. She loved to spend time at her home in Grand Isle, La., feeding the birds on the beach while relaxing on her deck. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Judith) and Howard Jr. (June) Pellegrin; daughters, Donna (Ronald) Price and Gina Holder; brothers, Hugh, David and Ricky Valure; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial was at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
