Cathy C. Cheramie, 64, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
Mrs. Cheramie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed working at the Cajun Pecan House, trawling in the summer and reading. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Cheramie; sons, Joey (Deana), Ricky (Hadassah) and Jason (Bobbi) Cheramie; brothers, Nolta Jr., Ralph and Milton Cheramie; sister, Audrey Bradberry; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolta and Virgis Cheramie.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery. (Falgout)
