Cecelia D. Champagne, 82, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, March 24, 2012.
Mrs. Champagne was a member of the St. Joseph Altar Society and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Galliano.
She is survived by her son, Robert Jr. (Dianne) Champagne; daughters, Carol (Von) Bailey and Lela Bailey; brother, Larry Doucet; sister, Clementine Pierce; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Champagne Sr.; parents, Neville and Evelina Doucet; son, Tab Champagne; brothers, Ulysses, Maxine and Clarence Doucet; sisters, Melissa Collins and Euna Doucet; and granddaughter, Bonnie Chabert.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
