Cecil Ann Cenac

Cecil Ann Cenac, 63, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Jarreau, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, January 23.

She is survived by her former husband, Andre Charles Broussard Sr. of St. Francisville, La.; son, Andre Charles Broussard Jr. of Houma; daughters, Renee Angelle Broussard and Aimee Cela Broussard of Baton Rouge, La.; mother, Marie Clement Cenac of Houma; brother, Ernest Albert “Butch” Cenac Jr. and sister-in-law, Diane Picou Cenac of Houma; brother, Richard Joseph Cenac Sr. of Houma; sister, Jeannie Cenac Gueniot and brother-in-law, Louis Gueniot Jr. of Houma; her beloved friend, Michael Sasson of Jarreau; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Albert “Mannie” Cenac Sr.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Leo Broussard and Lucy Andrepont Broussard.

She was a 1963 graduate of St. Francis de Sales and a 1966 graduate of Louisiana State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a devoted Catholic and a parishioner of Immacolata Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland. After raising her beloved children, she became a licensed real estate agent, work she truly loved. She approached her profession with the same passion she had for life.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Houma with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
