Cecile Brou Mongrue, 88, a native of Welsh, La., and resident of Luling, La., died Sunday, May 20, 2012.
Mrs. Mongrue was a faithful servant of God and a devout Catholic. She was a former secretary for St. Charles Parish Schools at J.B. Martin, the Department of Human Resources and Humble Oil Co.
She is survived by her children, Marie Penick, Roy Jr. (Lisa) and James (Reina) Mongrue, Emma (Mark) Green and Marguerite (Bruce) Emerson; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, F.J. and Helene Brou; husband, Roy Mongrue; and siblings, Jeanne Caillet, Marie Ladow and Sis. Marguerite, Francis, Maurice, Sis. Jane Frances and Edward Brou.
Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery. (Falgout)
