Cecile Enola Gaspard Laster, 80, a native of Cow Island, La., and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011.
Mrs. Laster was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, mamaw and great mamaw. She loved her family immensely. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a longtime member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Marshall Laster; daughters, Tammie (Numa) Arceneaux, Carol (Steve) Sealine and Sonya Laster; sister, Learline (Harris) David; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Laster; daughter, Cheryl Boone; parents, Marcial and Enola Gaspard; brothers, Lawrence and Dominic Gaspard; and sisters, Isabelle Friou and Theresa Abshire.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
