Cecile White Gautier, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and resident of Dulac, LA., died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007.


Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence F. Gautier Jr. and wife, Darla, and Michael Gautier Sr. and wife, Sheryl; two brothers, Nolan and Floyd White; four sisters, Edith Hotard, Alice Palmer, Oletta Chatagnier and Loula Mae Bourg; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Gautier Sr.; her parents, Nicholas and Eva Fanguy White; three brothers, Eli, Junior and Julius White; one sister, Inez Dupre; and one great-granddaughter.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Knights of Columbus and Ladies Altar Society of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was recipient of the Bishop’s Medal.
