Cecile Hotard Dugas

Cecile “Ruth” “Sis” Hotard Dugas, 66, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011.

Mrs. Dugas was an avid bingo player and wonderful cook.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harry Dugas; daughters, Melissa (Michael) Raynaud, Tina and Angela Dugas; sisters, Velma Guidroz, Hilda Sampey and Patsy (Calvin) LeBeau; brothers, Irvin (Verla) and Emile (Gail) Hotard; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ovelia and Emile Hotard; and brothers, Herbert and Hubert Hotard.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut with mass to follow. (Samart)
