Charamaine Hayes Mason, 47, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and a resident of Houma, LA., died Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2007 at Community Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Southdown Cemetery.
She is survived by her father, Calvin Hayes Jr. of Houma; her step-parents, Theresa and Daniel Smith Sr. of Houma; six daughters, Shanice, Jalissa, Iesha, Sharrell, Breanna and Sieda Hayes, all of Houma; her sister, Tamma “Ronnie” Hayes of Houma; her brothers, Calvin Corinthian Hayes of Baton Rouge, LA., Marc “Leonara” Hayes of Alpharetta , GA., David Paul Hayes of Houma, John Anthony Hayes of Gulfport, MS., and Daniel Smith Jr. of Houma.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Brown Hayes; her grandparents, Ben Brown Sr. and Olivia Fitch Brown, and Calvin Hayes Sr. and Mary Jane Hayes.
She was Awarded Adoptive Family of The Year.
She enjoyed singing, fishing and writing.
She was a full-time mother.
Community Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangments.
