Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

May 20, 2010Charles R. Cherry, 68, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, May 7, 2010.
An Army veteran, Mr. Cherry served a four-year term. He enjoyed playing the piano and guitar, and caring for his animals – birds, dogs and rabbits.
He is survived by his brother, Gregory (Amie) Cherry; sister, Sherry Ann Cherry; and a host of other relatives.
He is buried at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Catholic Church Cemetery.
