LSU adds slew of LBs, DBs

Rev. Charles Jones, 79, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
Rev. Jones was a member New Vision Christian Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Jones; daughters, Sheila (Ernest) Jackson and Angela and Bernice Howard; sons, Gerard (Denise), Henry, Benjamin and Earl Howard; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Viola Jones; daughter, Doris Jones; sisters, Audrey Felix, Thelma Smith, Gladys Cornelius and Lubertha Jones; and brothers, Clarence, Steve and Leonard Jones and Ernest Reed.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 and 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, Feb. 11, at New Vision Christian Community Church in Raceland. Burial will be at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland. (Kennedy)
