Charles John Baptist Voisin, 75, a native of Theriot, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010.


Mr. Voisin was a member of Annunziata Catholic Church. He served in the Army during peacetime. He retired from the fishing industry and he loved family gatherings and spending time with his friends and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Andrea Linn Dugas, Lindy (Raymond “Buddy”) Stark, Andrea (Don) Young and Amanda (Shawn) Mills; sons, Charles J.B. (Carol) Voisin and Michael Dugas; 11 grandchildren, Seann, Jasmiene and Gabrielle Hamilton, Jordan Voisin, Hunter Dugas, Rhett and Rae Ann Stark, Max Lehman, Harrison Mills, and Daniel and Jennifer Adams; and sisters, Annie and Claire Voisin.


He was preceded in death by wife, Aline Marie Klingman Voisin; parents, Linest and Lorena Helen Champagne Voisin; son, Donald Adams; brothers, Linwood, Wiltz, Ernest, James and William Voisin; and sister, Mary Leona Voisin Rhodes.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
