Charles Paul ” Charlie” Zamojcin, 86, a resident of Houma, La. and a native of Helmetta, N.J., died at 11:47 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007.
He is survived by his son, Louis Zamojcin; his daughter, Elizabeth Ellender Dien and husband, Michael; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Francis Chiani Zamojcin; his parents, Ludwig and Mary C.; his son-in-law, H. Thomas Ellender; his great-grandson, Harrison Thomas Pitre; three brothers, Alfred, Stanley and John Zamojcin; and his sister, Helen Preztakiewiez.
He was a parishoner of St. Bernadette.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Italian Society.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
