‘Crimes of the Heart’: Tragedy, laughs

Charleston “Charlie” Thibodaux, 77, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Chackbay, La., died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.


Mr. Thibodaux was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He retired from Nick Martinolich House Movers, where he worked for over 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patsy” Usey Thibodaux; son, Kerry (Allyson) Thibodaux; daughter, Donna (Ernest) Hotard; brothers, Henry and Rodgers Thibodaux; one granddaughter, Shandi Parks; one grandson, Richard Thibodaux; and one great-grandson, Ayden Parks.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Annette Andras Thibodaux; and one brother, Russell Thibodaux.

He is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Cemetery in Chackbay.
