Charlotte Ann Tedesco Harris, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Tallahassee, Fla., died at her home, surrounded by family and friends, after a prolonged battle with ovarian cancer.


Mrs. Harris was a speech language pathologist in the Tallahassee school system and in nursing homes. A Southern Methodist University graduate, she held a master’s degree from Florida State University. Mrs. Harris enjoyed traveling, reading, taking classes and participating in the Acting Up Theatre group. She was involved with the Ovarian Cancer Support group.

She is survived by daughters, Jillian Leigh Harris of Tallahassee, Fla., and MaryAlice (Kenneth) David; and grandchildren, Grace and Morgan Rogers, and Emily and Isabelle David.


She was preceded in death by her son, Malcolm Clifford Harris Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.

She is buried at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Tallahassee.

Culley’s Funeral Home of Tallahassee is in charge of arrangements.
