Chase Edward Esponge, 48, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Thursday, May 23, 2013.
Mr. Esponge was the owner of Chase Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, cruises, parties and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Wanda Esponge; son, Blake (Lacey) Esponge; parents, Darryl and Gladys Esponge; grandparents, Lynwood and Irma Esponge; brother, Chuck (Misty) Esponge; and sisters, Angela and Dana Esponge and Brandi (Wesley) Gaspard.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilfed and Jeannette Duet.
Burial is at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
