Cheryl C. Plaisance, 51, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011.
Mrs. Plaisance was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
She is survived by her father, Norman Chauvin Sr.; son, Ryan (Wendy) Plaisance; daughter, Christina (Kenny) Curole; sisters, Sylvia Knight, Judy Chauvin and Mary Adams; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julien Plaisance Jr.; mother, Tessie Chauvin; son, Jerome Plaisance; brother, Norman Chauvin Jr.; and sister, Rita Plaisance.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
