Chester Nixon Jr., 53, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, May 31, 2010.
Mr. Nixon was a cement finisher for C. Nixon Cement and Trucking.
He is survived by his mother, Louella Williams Holly; stepmother, Mary B. Nixon; son, Chester Nixon III; daughters, Khalilah N. Ramirez, Qiana Nixon and Kedra (Julius) Gant; brothers, Darnell, Clark and Cassius (Shawanna) Nixon; sisters, Penny (Lester) Stewart; and five grandchildren.
He is buried at Mchanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
