Chris Joseph Walker, 63, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015.
Mr. Walker was an avid softball player who was recently inducted into the USSSA Hall of Fame. He was a member of the St. Hilary Knights of Columbus. He was a teacher and coach for many years.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Martha Michel Walker; daughters, Sandy Walker and Lisa (James) Adams; one granddaughter; brother, Allan Paul Walker; and sister, Adele Walker.
Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery.
