Christine Elizabeth Ledet Hamner, 51, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Mrs. Hamner was a retired teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School Board. After retirement she became a GED test administrator with the adult education program. She was a strong, enthusiastic and courageous woman. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Hamner; daughter, Claire Hamner; and siblings, Ragis Jr., Joann, Sam, Wayne, Jules and Troy Ledet, Brenda Lugo, Phyllis Salter and Lydia Alleman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ragis Sr. and Rheta Ledet.
Interment is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
