Christopher Jefferson, 43, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Saturday, June 28.


He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Rousse Jefferson; his mother, Janet Jefferson; two sons, Brent Aucoin and Bryant C. Williams; two daughters, Nicole and Ashley Jefferson; six brothers, Ronald, Donald, Stephon and wife, Gizelle, Philip and wife, Yvette, Melvin and wife, Stephanie, and Christopher and wife, Maxine; sisters, Devora and husband, Arlington, Connie and husband, Billy Ray, Janice and husband, Johnell, Suzin and husband, Robert, Sharon and husband, Bodillie, Rachel, Frankita and husband, Eric, Tonya and husband, Sanders, and Andrea and husband, Tyronne; one grandchild; son-in-law of Raleigh and Laura Rousse; brother-in-law of Kevin Rousse, Bryan and Holly Rousse; his special friends, Keith and Mary Plaisance, Bruce and Ingrien, Gary and Angel Ricky and Rhetta and Greg; bowling team friends, Lee, Shawn, Ted and Matt; his special friend, Halen Savoie; godson of Vera Mae Cannon; numerous nieces and nephews; and employees of Pacific Gulf Wire and Rope and Plaquemine Parish Sheriff Department.


He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Riley.

He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He was buried at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport, La.
