Claire Delaune Sawyer, 65, a native and resident of Patterson, La., died at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
Mrs. Sawyer was a loving wife and friend to many. She retired from Patterson State Bank after 35 years of service and was currently serving as Councilwoman for the City of Patterson, secretary for the Patterson Garden Club and she was a member of the Council on Aging.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Charles Sawyer; and sister, Laura (Leroy) Cuvillier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Bertha Delaune.
Burial was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
