Claire Whitney Lottinger, 89, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:18 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012.
Mrs. Lottinger was a loyal parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and a proud 1939 graduate of St. Francis Convent School.
She is survived by her sister, Genevieve Darsey; daughters, Claire Downing and Gina Anthon; sons, Eric, Kenton, Michael, James and Timothy Lottinger; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip Whitney and Claire Tinney; husband, Ellis Lottinger Jr.; and brothers, Philip, Bernard, Leo, Stephen and Donald Whitney.
Burial was at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. (Chauvin)
