Clara D. Bourg, 78, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 4:17 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
Mrs. Bourg was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin Bourg; sons, Myron (Charlotte) and Mark Bourg; daughters, Miriam (Rodney) and Melissa (Rusty) Gisclair; sisters, Leola Guidry and Rema Chouest; seven grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Roselind Doucet.
Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, and 8 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
