Clara “Te-Toot” Marie Rougee Guidry, 89, a native of Chackbay, LA. and resident of Vacherie, LA., died at 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


She is survived by two sons, Jessie Guidry and wife, Shirley, of Chackbay and Gary Guidry and wife, Lana, of Chackbay; two daughters, Sylvia Adams and husband, Sterling, of Chackbay and Janie Percle and husband, Kerrel, of Chackbay; one sister, Ursula Chenier; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand Guidry; her parents, Wallace Rougee and Amelia Ockmond; three brothers, Lucien, Camille and Jean Rougee; one sister, Maria Webre; and one grandson, Erick Guidry.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
