February 2, 2012Clara Savoie Chauvin, 87, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Frederick (Elaine) Allemand; daughters, Carol (Louis) Breaux and Kathleen (Tommy) Chiasson; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tillman Allemand; second husband, Anthony Chauvin; parents, Elves and Lena Savoie; and sister, Elsie Hargis.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews, La., with burial at Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. (Falgout)
