Clara Valdivia Garcia, 76, a native of Cuba and a resident of Waggaman, La., died Thursday, July 9, at 11:40 p.m.
She is survived by her four sisters, Lilia Valdivia Clavelo, Graciela V. Mursuli, Oneida V. Merlos and Olga V. Frankum.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose M. Garcia; parents, Pedro and America Valdivia; and one brother, Pedro Valdivia Clavelo.
A religious service will be at 9 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., with burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
