Clarence “Brud” “Brother” “Filé” Antoine Autement III, 30, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010.


He is survived by his wife, Amy Callahan Authement; parents, Clarence “C.J.” and Lorette Carrere Authement; son, Gave John Authement; daughter, Kelsie Marie Aline Authement; brothers, Jeremy and Leland Authement; sister, Michele (Chad Defelice) Authement; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence Authement and Pearl White and J.C. Constrantiche; and maternal grandparents, Sidney Carrere Sr. and Mary Lirette and Junius “Popeye” Bonvillain Sr.


He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, family and friends.

Always remember Brad, “I love you like the moon and the stars in the sky.”

He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin.
