Luncheon to recognize area’s foster parents; More adults needed to provide homes to youths

Clarence “Fuzzy” Bell, 61, a native and resident of Belle Rose, La., died at his residence, Sunday, May 6, 2007.


Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at William and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, La. and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. James United Methodist Church in Belle Rose. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by three daughters, Alecia A. Buggage, Judith and Katie Bell, all of Belle Rose; three sons, Clarence Bell Jr. of Belle Rose, David and Alonzo K. Bell of Houston, Tx.; one stepbrother, Edward Bell of Donaldsonville, La.; one sister, Shirley Williams of Belle Rose; one stepsister, Debra Vaughn of Baton Rouge, La.; 12 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Katie M. and Paul Bell Sr.; his wife, Laura Mae Bell; two sisters, Augustine Donaldson and Marvastine Joseph; one brother, Paul Bell Jr.; and one son-in-law, Timothy Buggage.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of arrangements.
