Clarence P. Champagne, 76, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, March 5, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Champagne; sons, David and Gary (Lori) Champagne; daughters, Kathy (Faron) Levron and Denise (Robbie) Ledet; sister, Debra (Clarence) Fields; brothers, Franklin (Barba), Herbert (Bonnie), Hubert (Gloria), Cleveland (Audrey) and Gerald (Patsy) Champagne; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Pearl Champagne; brother, Junius Champagne; and sisters, Mary Soudelier and Theresa Champagne.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
