Clarence Joseph Richardel, 83, a native and resident of Larose, LA., died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007.


Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Richardel; three daughters, Paula R. Pierce, Mary R. Thibodeaux and Martha R. Bourg; one brother, Fred Richardel; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Argentine Robichaux Richardel; and one brother, Roland Richardel.

He was a member of the VFW Post No. 8538 and was retired from Chevron after 32 years of service.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
