Clark Joseph Bonvillain, 75, a native of Daigleville, La. and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, February 12, 2016.

Mr. Bonvillain attended Vandebilt Catholic Boy’s School where he was a member of the State Championship Baseball Team. He was a graduate of Nicholls State University and was a U.S. Army Veteran. For over 25 years he was a volunteer Babe Ruth Baseball Coach and avid sports fan. He was a lifelong Charter member and Past President of the East Park Volunteer Fire Company. He was a 30 year member and past president of the Terrebonne Parish School Board and member of the Knights of Columbus and Terrebonne Sportsmans League. Clark was the owner and operator of Clark Bonvillain Accounting and Tax Services. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.


The family would like to thank the Terrebonne General Medical Center medical nurses and staff of the fourth floor, STAT Home Health and Haydel Medical Memorial Hospice for their loving and generous care.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Ellen Orgeron Bonvillain; sons, Mickey (Yvette) Bonvillain, Kirk (Tonia) Bonvillain, Sean (Joulieta) Bonvillain; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Allen (Gayle) Bonvillain; sisters, Mae Morgan, Marion Bonvillain and Betty Cosse’; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
