Claude Allen Medine, 47, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Patterson, La., died Sunday, April 29, 2012.
Mr. Medine was a volunteer for United Way and a member of the Louisiana Advisory Council. He received the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Citizen with a Disability in 1993 and the 1994-1995 Knight of the Year from the Knights of Columbus in Patterson. He loved life, meeting new people and never failed to lighten the mood with a goofy joke.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Robin Medine; daughter, Alexandria Medine; mother, Elsie Medine; brother, Evans III (Donna) Medine; and sister, Aurelie (Mike) Hulsey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Evans Medine Jr.; grandparents, Evans Sr. and Florence and Omere and Delia Sanchez.
Burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
