Claude “Pops” Smith, 57, a resident of Montegut, La., died Friday, April 3.
He is survived by his brothers, James Smith, Nolan Smith Jr., Walter Lee Smith, Freddie Smith Sr. and Percy Dardar Sr.; and sisters, Ester Mae Nora Smith, Fannie Zachary and Silvia Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Genieve Smith; brothers, Willie Smith and Robert Lee Smith; and sisters, Mary Ann Smith, Corienne Smith, Joyce Smith, Shirley Mae Smith and Beverly Ann Smith.
He enjoyed fishing.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
