T’bonne levee district inks LDWF agreement for J-2
February 23, 2010Claude J. Rodrigue, 89, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, RosaBelle LeBouef Rodrigue; sons, Ray (Judy), Reggie (Diana), Carroll (Grace) and Michael (Brenda) Rodrigue; daughter, Barbara (Randy) Dupre; sister, Alexina R. Crochet; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mentor and Fabiola Neal Rodrigue; son, Donald Anthony Rodrigue; grandchildren, Randy and Kenny Dupre; brothers, Paul, Emile and John Rodrigue; and sisters, Leola Brunet, Mayola Trahan and Viola Dupre.
In lieu of flowers, donations for funeral expenses are preferred.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, and from 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Rodrigue will be buried at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
