Claude “TE” William Cavalier, 81, a native of Belle Rose, La., and resident of Plattenville, La., died at 3 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 2011.
Mr. Cavalier served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid hunter and fisherman with a love for gardening. He was a retired auto mechanic from Barbera Chevrolet.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Cavalier; sons, Craig (Lena) and Daniel (Terrie) Cavalier; daughters, Debra (Herbert) Hannegan, Becky Landry and Carolyn (Chad) Alexander; brother, Lucien (Barbara) Caballero; sister, Marguerite Cavalier; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Marie Cavalier; and brother, Alex Caballero.
Burial was Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery. (Landry’s)
