Claudia Dell “Waud” Gunner, 73, a native of Bayou Sale, La., and resident of Verdunville, La., died at 5:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
She is survived by her children, LuCinda (John) Parker and Eddie (Clarissa), Kennedy (Bridgette), Tonya, Ronald (Catrina) and Chadwick (Shanelle) Gunner; sister, Eura Williams; and brother, Levi Sr. (Hildred) Gunner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac Sr. and LuCinda Gunner; brothers, Eric Sr., Wilbert and Jeff Sr. Gunner; sisters, Daisy Gunner, Hazel Cage, Mariah Matthews, Carrie Chatman, Alene Campbell and Dorothy Sibley.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Nazarene Baptist Church in Verdunville with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Jones)
