September 23, 2011Claudia Mae Simmons, 75, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011.
Mrs. Simmons was a homemaker
She is survived by her brothers, Frank and Paul (Shirley) Joseph; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Simmons; parents, Ophelia and Clavile Joseph; sisters, Mary Adams, Martha Washington and Eula Joseph; and brothers, Clyde, Joe and Charles Joseph.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Donaldsonville with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Ascension Catholic Cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
