Cleon Bridges

Cleon E. “Trey” Bridges III, 35, a native of Houma, LA. and a resident of Opelousas, LA., died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. 10:30 a.m. Monday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his father, E.J. Bridges Jr.; and his stepfather and mother, Vinton Crosby and Gayle Crosby; one brother, Corey J. Bridges; one stepbrother, Kurt Crosby and wife, Susan; one stepsister, Paddy Crosby; one nephew, Caine Bridges; and two nieces, MacKenzie and Abby Bridges.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, C.E. Bridges, Nellie Bridges, Noel Bergeron and Myrtle Bergeron; and one aunt, Betty Foret.

He was Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He was a Mason, and his hobbies included dancing and enjoying life. He loved his family and his friends.
