Clifton “Cliff” J. Naquin Sr., 82, a native of Labadieville, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Sunday, March 29.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Simoneaux Naquin; children, C.J. Naquin and wife Catherine, Jackie Naquin Sr. and wife Nancy, Larry Naquin and wife Barbara, Rodney “Rock” Naquin and wife Gwen, Faith Delette and husband Lawrence, Joy Acosta and husband Clark, Robin “Bean” Bergeron and husband Robert, and Bobby Naquin and wife Wendy; sister, Alicia Adams; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Clebert Naquin and Alida Gros Naquin; brothers, Noah, Gilbert and Robert Naquin; and sisters, Louise Clement, Rita Navarre and Nobie Boudreaux.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at Landry’s Funeral Home in Napoleonville. Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Napoleonville with burial at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Paincourtville, La.

Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
