Clifton Joseph Thomassie Jr., 69, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Denham Springs, La., died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011.
Mr. Thomassie was in the finance and furniture business.
He is survived by his sons, Clifton III “Joey” and Christopher “Chris” Thomassie; daughters, Frances “Fran,” Rebecca “Becky” and Dorothy “Nicki” Thomassie and Jennifer Hawkins; brother, Eugene Thomassie; sisters, Gladys Callais and Catherine Melancon; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Calvin Thomassie; and his parents, Clifton Sr. and Gladys Guidroz Thomassie.
He is buried at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.
