Clint “DJ Master C” James Giroir, 36, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Berwick, La., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011.

Mr. Giroir was a well-known DJ throughout the tri-parish area. Where ever he was, the party was sure to follow. He loved life and at full speed was how he lived it. When not playing music, he was often found relaxing at his camp fishing. He worked at Tanks-a-lot as both a welder and mechanic for the past six years.


He is survived by his son, Dwayne Giroir; daughter, Kaylin Giroir; parents, Gladys and Troyas Richardson; brothers, Frank, Sonny and Johnny Giroir and Floyd Herford; sister, Julia (Fabian) Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Giroir.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2 at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City with services to follow. Graveside services will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
